아버지가 개똥을 먹는 모습을 여자친구에게 들킨 순간, 소년은 자신이 파리로 태어났음을 부정하고 집을 떠난다. 꽃과 벌, 모기와 나비 사이를 떠돌며 다른 존재가 되고자 애쓰지만, 끝내 그는 자신이 가장 혐오하던 똥 앞에 서게 된다. “밥이다…” 그가 본능을 받아들이려는 찰나, 인간의 손바닥이 날개 위로 내려친다. 짙은 어둠 속, 다시 울려 퍼지는 날갯짓과 아버지의 미소는 그가 살아 있음을, 그리고 정체성을 받아들였음을 암시한다. 흰파리(Fly to the Sh**)는 깨끗함이라는 가면 너머, 우리가 끝내 피할 수 없는 본성을 응시한다.
When his girlfriend catches his father eating dog feces, a boy rejects the fact that he was born a fly and runs away from home. Wandering among flowers, bees, mosquitoes, and butterflies, he tries to become something else—but eventually stands before the filth he despises most. “Food…” Just as he moves to accept his instincts, a human palm smacks down on his wings. In the thick darkness, the renewed buzz of wings and his father’s faint smile suggest he is alive—and that he has embraced his identity. White Fly (Fly to the Sh**) looks past the mask of cleanliness to confront the nature we cannot escape.
